What Merlin House Offers
Our apartments are well furnished, equipped and maintained to a high standard. Cleanliness is a high priority for us and both apartments are prepared for our guests to a high standard. The kitchens are fully fitted and have a fridge/freezer, electric oven and microwave. Basics, such as washing up liquid, hand and tea towels, dish-cloths, toilet rolls and a variety of cleaning items are supplied.
The lounges are bright, roomy and comfortable with a TV, video, DVD and radio/CD player. All our accommodation has free access to Wireless Broad Band (Wifi).
There is a selection of books, games and toys in both apartments, together with brochures of local attractions.
Both apartments have bathrooms with bath, shower over, wash hand basin and WC. A cot and high chair can be provided at an additional cost of £5 each per week. (Please bring your own cot bedding).
Watch the steam trains go by
Have a grandstand view of the West Somerset Steam Railway, only 50 yards or so away, so expect the sight and sounds of the steam trains during your stay.
The rear garden, with its amazing views from Exmoor to North Hill, the beach and over the water to Wales is an ideal place to sit and relax.
Garden furniture, including table, chairs and parasol are provided for each apartment and a BBQ is available if you want to eat alfresco. After a busy day exploring wonderful West Somerset, enjoy a drink in the garden watching the magical sunsets from the comfort of your own patio area.

How about relaxing in the hot tub in the garden. Or wait until it is dark... there is nothing like star gazing as the warm water bubbles around you. Children must be supervised at all times and must not be left unattended in the hot tub at any time.

There is a shared laundry room with washing machine and drier, or if you prefer your washing to have a blow, lines and pegs are provided to enable you to hang your washing outside.
A selection of ordnance survey books/ cycle and walking maps are available to borrow.
If you are a cyclist and are bringing your bicycle, we have secure storage an area where you can wash your bike down after a fun day out.
We accept well behaved dogs by arrangement at an additional charge of £15 per dog per week. (Please bring suitable bedding/bowls etc for your pet).
